Our Excite, Inspire and Transform programmes can be tailored to the bespoke needs of your school, teachers and students. Ranging from a one-off twilight session in your school to a three-term intensive engagement with our creative practitioners, our lessons can -

- Increase pupil engagement across ability levels, embracing backgrounds and personal experiences.
- Incentivise pupils to write with greater clarity, confidence, coherence and depth.
- Lead to clear and demonstrable improvements in literacy, specifically use of written and spoken English.
- Build the confidence of your teachers in delivering creative activities in the classroom.
- Encourage pupils to develop their social skills, collaborative ability and empathy.

Excite
We hold regular termly 90 minute twilight CDP training sessions at Green Arts Centre in Mitcham.
Sessions include - Presentation skills, Language and Storytelling, Scriptwriting, Exploring Grammar Work, Character Development, Using Movement and Mime, Shakespeare’s Language and puppetry. We ask that schools involved pay a per teacher fee for participation in these sessions.
We also hold FREE MASTERCLASSES throughout the year so keep an eye on the website and sign up to our mailing list by using the Contact Us form.

Inspire


Bring a drama practitioner into your school to deliver a bespoke lesson plan aimed at developing pupils’ vocabulary, grammar and writing skills in an active and engaging way.
Featuring group work and peer to peer presentation, lessons are carefully targeted to your pupils needs and are adaptable to different year groups and ability levels.

HALF DAY: ONE
- Arts Practitioner leads a lesson with teacher observing
- Short Debrief with teacher

HALF DAY: TWO
- Practitioner and teacher collaborate on a shared lesson plan
​
HALF DAY: THREE
- Practitioner and teacher co-teach a lesson
- Followed by shared reflection on the skills and techniques acquired
Transform
Create a programme of bespoke literacy lessons over one, two or three terms. An experienced arts practitioner will partner with a teacher in your school, planning and co-delivering 2 lessons per term giving teachers skills and confidence to apply drama techniques in the classroom unsupported.

RfL lesson plans are adaptable and can be applied in a range of learning situations, addressing specific areas of the literacy curriculum.​

Lessons created in partnership with teachers will-

- provide emotionally engaging content
- provide creative space for pupils
- give voice to lived experience,
- promote active group work
- offer shared challenges
- be adaptable and transferable

and tested toolbox of creative exercises,
games and activities to energise your lesson
plans straight away.
